Aloha!
Let me tell you a bit about my professional background.
I specialize in the treatment of narcissistic abuse, typically showing up in clients as PTSD and complex PTSD (or CPTSD).
I am nationally board-certified (NCC) and licensed in Hawai’i (LMHC) as well as Pennsylvania (LPC) as a psychotherapist.
I have experience working with couples, families, children, adolescents, and adult individuals, but I mostly work with adults in individual therapy currently.
I am a certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC) and a certified clinical trauma professional level 2 (CCTP-II). I specialize in working with women who have suffered abuse by men, specifically narcissistic abuse.
I work with clients using many different techniques of counseling, and specifically use EMDR therapy to treat narcissistic abuse. I am a trauma therapist, but I also have specific training & experience working in intensive family therapy programs and substance abuse treatment, but most of my experience is in domestic violence and sexual assault, working with victims as well as with offenders.
I no longer work with offenders or perpetrators of abuse specifically, but my experience has provided unique insights into the minds of those who chronically abuse. I feel that my skills are of better use to those who have been the target of such abuse instead of working directly with abusers.
