Jordyn Hayashi, BS
Hi there! I am so excited to be part of this amazing team as a graduate counseling intern.
I was born and raised in Hilo, Hawai’i and have experience working locally with a plethora of different individuals and families as a school counselor and a resource teacher.
I graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology and double minors in Business and Counseling. Through this opportunity, I was able to further my education in therapeutic interventions while also working as a research assistant in Psychology and a Behavioral Health intern at a local clinic.
I am currently working towards earning a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling through Chaminade University.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across different areas of the helping field. It is my goal, hope, and passion to be able to provide mental health services to our community and obtain even more diverse experiences through working as a counseling intern. I can’t wait to learn and grow in my psychology aspirations here with Akahai Emotional Wellness.
