Jordyn Hayashi, BS
Aloha! I am so glad you are here.
I am so thankful and blessed to be a part of this amazing team as a graduate counseling intern. In just a short period of time working under Kevin, I have noticed a huge growth in my abilities to successfully facilitate counseling sessions and integrate various therapeutic interventions.
I graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Psychology and double minors in Business and Counseling. Through this opportunity, I was able to further my education in therapeutic interventions while also working as a research assistant in Psychology and a Behavioral Health intern at a local clinic in Hilo.
I am currently working towards earning a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling through Chaminade University. I am on track to complete my master’s degree in June 2026.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across different areas of the helping field. Under Kevin’s supervision, I am currently integrating EMDR therapy into my clinical practice and have been using this method to help clients who have past traumas, tragedies, and hardships that need healing. Through my internship, I have developed a great passion for working with those recovering from PTSD and Complex PTSD symptoms, and am eager to continue working and learning in this field.
I’d love to connect with you about what you are looking for in therapy and see if we think I may be a good fit for your needs.
